When we made the decision to choose a custom home builder we looked long and hard at all the choices. After meeting Ken and Brenda Keating at Camlin, the decision was clear. They are a family business that understands and recognizes the importance of listening to the customer's needs. They were always reachable during and after construction….including a year later! Ken and Brenda have a wealth of experience and information regarding every aspect of home building. We liked the open book process very much as we felt we were getting the best value and we had better control of the budget. We felt we were in partnership with Camlin to get a well-built home at the best price with no hidden/surprise fees! As a Realtor and a real estate attorney, we deal with different builders and believe that Camlin is one of the best. We could not be happier with our new home. The one-on-one service that Camlin Custom Homes provided was awesome and we refer people to Camlin all the time. We were actively involved in every phase of the process and were very pleased with the final floor plan. Working alongside Camlin and our architect enabled us to take maximum advantage of the home site views and outdoor living areas. Meeting with all the trades allowed us to fully understand all the options we had available to us and the costs involved. The open book process gave us options to save money on certain items or spend more money if we wanted to. This process also allowed us to fully understand how all the funds were being spent.. Our favorite part of this journey was watching our home come to life and getting to live in the finished product!

Having not ever built a completely custom home before, we enjoyed the process. Ken & Brenda from Camlin helped guide the conversation with the architect so the finer architectural details that we wanted were included in the final plan. Camlin offered us many suggestions to make the final product more unique and truly custom. We really enjoyed the concierge build process. There were no budget surprises because we took our time creating our floor plan and meeting with trades before moving forward. We are very happy with the final product; we felt like we were part of the Camlin family and always knew they had our best interests in mind. We also enjoyed the completely open-ended selection process of materials. We loved the process and working with Camlin, we have referred Camlin to our friends and we would build with them again.

We enjoyed collaborating with Camlin on our project, and we also enjoyed having the ultimate decisions around how our house was built and constructed. We thoroughly enjoyed working with the entire Camlin team throughout the process, as they were truly invested in the quality outcome of our home. Meeting directly with tradesmen throughout the design and building process was a key element in ensuring we got everything we wanted down to the last detail of our custom home. Setting up weekly “touch base meetings” ensured that fluid, ongoing communication happened during the process. They took full advantage of all that the homesite had to offer during the collaborative process that included the architect, Camlin and us contributing to the outstanding final outcome.
